was really glad he didn't have to see a possible relapsethat would probably have been very uncomfortable/potentially triggering for himalso I completely didn't notice the vicodin bottle nor it's importance until this scene and then I went WOAHI feel like they handled EVERYTHING in this episode so welllike I felt viscerally torn up about sherlock having been lied tolike it was an actual physical shock to meI am more and more surprised at how amazing this show isand how well it handled the themes it shoulderedalso I feel like the hook/plot that it took up in this episode was one of the best handled ones I have ever seen???they introduced a story element had a HUGE amount of character development and wrapped it up in less than two hoursand it felt like it was simultaneously connected to the entire season but also a stand alone momentand it was significantly emotional for the audiencelike WOWuggggghthis show is gr9 everyone should watch italthough that is just my opinion I’m talking about the hundreds of men and women that joined the navy or airforce, worked in the space industry, or became astronauts <em><strong>because</strong></em> of Star Trek. He’s forgotten all those people. He didn’t have faith that Star Trek in its purest form could reach all people– because it never reached him. So he molded it into something very different to fit a societal standard of action movies that pervades Hollywood today. </p> <p>He missed that mark.
